Here’s a great idea for a 25th wedding anniversary… celebrate with 80 people and have your wedding set rebuilt! That’s what Kristin did for her special 25th wedding anniversary.
After 25 years of wearing the same set, Kristin decided it was time for a change. Originally, her wedding set (created by another jeweller) was made in yellow gold. She didn’t like the spacing between the engagement ring and the wedding band as it never sat flush against one another. The ring also rolled. So eventually she had the two rings soldered together to prevent the rolling. Then, a baguette fell out of the ring…. It was time to start afresh.
With Jeff, Kristin rebuilt her wedding set into a modern 2 – in – 1 set. She merged the engagement ring and wedding band and had it built into one ring even though it still looks like two. She also changed the metal from yellow gold to white gold. Jeff used all her diamonds from her previous ring. The results are exquisite.
